Before You Call a Contractor
Leak Detection
Independent detection for active and hidden leaks, so you know what you’re dealing with first.
What This Service Covers
A slow leak can go unnoticed for months while it quietly feeds a mold problem behind the scenes. Leak Detection investigates suspected areas to locate both visible and concealed leaks, giving you accurate, independent information before you ever call a contractor.
Because we don’t perform repair work ourselves, there’s no incentive to find more than what’s actually there. You get a straight answer about what’s leaking and where, and you decide what happens next.
What’s Included
Here’s What You Get
- Investigation of suspected leak areas
- Identification of both active and hidden leak sources
- Written findings you can hand directly to a contractor
- No repair work performed or upsold
Common Questions
Leak Detection FAQ
Is this a plumbing repair service?
No. We detect and document leaks, we don’t perform repairs. That separation is intentional, so our findings stay independent of any repair recommendation.
What if you don’t find an active leak?
That’s a useful answer too. Ruling out an active leak can redirect the investigation toward condensation, ventilation, or another moisture source instead.
Can this be combined with Moisture Intrusion Testing?
Yes, the two pair well together. Leak Detection finds active leak sources, while Moisture Intrusion Testing measures how far moisture has already spread from them.
Why It Matters
Leaks are rarely convenient. They show up behind a wall, under a slab, or inside a ceiling cavity where nobody would think to look until a stain or a spike in the water bill gives it away. Because we approach this purely as an investigation, with no repair work of our own on the table, you get a finding that reflects exactly what is there. That independence matters most when you are about to make a decision, whether that is calling a plumber, filing an insurance claim, or simply deciding the problem was smaller than you feared.
Leak Detection is available for homes, rentals, and commercial buildings throughout our Front Range service area. If a leak has already caused visible damage, pairing this service with a Basic Mold Inspection gives you both the source and the extent of the problem in a single visit, so you are working from complete information from day one.
Call us to talk through your specific situation. We will tell you honestly whether this is the right service for your property, or point you toward one that fits better.
If we do locate an active leak, we will document it clearly enough that any plumber or contractor you bring in afterward can go straight to the source instead of starting their own search from scratch.
